About Us

Adams Automotive in Houston, TX, was founded back in 1980 by owner and operator, Perry Adams along with his wife Patty Adams. Perry grew up in Fredericksburg, TX, and developed his mechanical skills early-on in life. He attended the Texas State Technical College in Waco, TX, where he received an education in automotive mechanics. Straight out of college, Perry was hired by a Ford dealership in Baytown, TX, to work as a line mechanic and continued to hold jobs in the following years working as an auto mechanic.

In 1980, Perry began his own automotive business with just 2 bays inside of an Exxon station. After four years, with guidance from God, Perry was able to transform his business into a stress-free and successful venture. Perry continued to follow the Lord in all of his decisions, which he believes has led to the great success of Adams Automotive.

Today, Adams Automotive is growing fast to keep up with our community’s needs. We have a number of new team members, one of the best front office staffs in the nation, and brand new additions to our facility. Our shop is now completely modern, immaculate, and boasts some of the highest quality tools and equipment in the industry. We now have 30 bays with a mix of lifts ranging from 10,000 to 22,000lb capacities, a new state inspection station, a 400-gallon saltwater fish tank, and so much more.
